It’s finally spring time in Kirkwall. The bone chilling wind now a sooth brush of warmth. Well at least that’s what it’s supposed to be. A storm had rolled in early morning, leaving everyone indoors. The thunder shook the mansion as if giving a warning. Don’t go outside, got it.
I curled into my comforter, burrowing my face into a pillow.
“Hawke.”
That usual gruff reply can only belong to one person.
I sat up, my blankets still wrapped tightly around my broad shoulders.
Fenris was standing in the doorway, his hair and armor soaked through.
He wasn’t brooding, rather he looked sheepish.
“I…It is raining.”
He averts his gaze to the floor.
I chuckle.
“How observant.”
I untangle myself and get to my feet, beckoning him to come closer.
His feet making soft little pat noises against the floor as he walks.
I slick back his hair and choke back a laugh as it stays.
“Oh hello, Sebastian!”
He snarls, shaking his hair back to normal.
“You are infuriating.”
I chuckle.
“And you love it.” He smirks placing a hand against my chest.
“I do.”
I smile, giving him a quick kiss to the forehead.
“Let’s get you out of these clothes before you get sick.”
I quickly went to work on prying the wet leather from his bronze skin; Easier said than done. You’d think the water would help the process go smoothly. Nope.
“By the void, I hate this armor!” I growled as I finally freed him from his leggings, leaving him completely exposed.
He merely gave a shrug and trotted over to the dresser.
Fenris has lost most of his shyness around me, unless I point out the obvious he’s content with being unguarded in my company.
He pulled out one of my everyday shirts and slipped it on.
He always enjoyed wearing my clothes, which I always thought was beyond adorable knowing his ‘if you breathe I’ll rip your heart out’ behavior ninety percent of the day.
The shirt came down to his thighs, just enough to make him decent.
“You are staring mage.” A casual statement, no bite.
I give a shrug leaning against the frame of the bed.
“Well, you are one beautiful man to look at, Fenris. What else am I to do with my lumbering self?”
He barks a laugh before making his way to my side of the bed, his eyes watching the floor.
“You can always put those hands to use…I-“
He rubs the back of his neck in his usual nervous manor. “I would not regret a massage…or perhaps a good read?”
My heart swelled, a smile spreading across my face.
I place a hand over the center of his chest.
It was always amazing to me how one hand could completely cover his chest.
Fenris didn’t mind my size, quite the opposite. He seemed just as amazed as I at our size difference and I’m not going to lie, its arousing.
He looks up at me, that same little smile just barely reaching his eyes. “You’re too soft for a mage.”
I throw a hand up to my face in a dramatic gesture.
“Oh no! What will I ever do against such hurtful criticism!? Why maker, Why?! My image is soiled!” His hand clasped over my mouth. He was laughing, almost uncontrollably so.
“You are a fool.” He said between laughs.
I kiss his palm before lightly pushing him onto the bed.
“How about I put my mouth to use, hm?”
He sits back, pulling me over him.
“I am yours.”
