It’s very unrealistic if events happen one after another without a time gap. Would anyone have played the game if it went through every mission Hawke had to do for the first half of the story? Would anyone have played it if you had to get into political debates as champion to chose the next viscount? How about picking through every last bit of evidence needed to do everyday work? 

Sounds a bit boring if you ask me~ Also Bioware rushed through DA2 to get us ready for something else. I see DA2 as a chapter more so than a game. Still love it to pieces though.
