We are drawn to these conclusions because everything around us is negative. We can’t like something without someone else storming through saying how bad it is and how awful we should feel for liking it. 

like me, I like the concept of the Xbox One, but damn the negativity surrounding it just sours it for me. that goes for any game too. 

If you like a thing that everyone else likes you get support

you like something different, you get bashed and poked and prodded like some escaped lab experiment.

So much this. I can’t stand it! I didn’t realize me saying “omg I love this thing” is an invitation for someone to butt in and say “oh gods that thing sucks because xyz.” Sure, someone might not like a thing I like, but is it so hard to be all “oh cool, I don’t care for that thing myself, but you clearly like the thing, neat!” or something idk

Like me, I’m not so excited about the Xbox One, though I can see how some of the concepts are really intriguing. For me, it was the concentration on the TV aspect that threw me, which, gotta say, is fricken awesome. But I wanna know more about game functionality and am bummed by the lack of backwards compatibility (like will I need to keep my 360 to continue to play all the Mass Effects, including multiplayer?).

exactly! As for the Xbox one I think the lack of backwards compatibility and the issue with the headsets will cause some problems for the market, but game wise, they have next to amazing graphic abilities, but so will the PS4 (which also wont have backwards compatibility. seems they are stretching for full digital availability now and less disk based. Which is okay, but thats how most of the gaming companies are founded.

Day 3- A game that is Underrated

Honestly, I’d have to think Dragons Dogma. When this game was released I dont think anyone knew a thing about it. I for sure didnt, My buddy Mark who works up at gamestop pre-ordered it for me and pretty much gave it to me on the launch day. I thought it was just another FF rip off but honestly I’ve never played a game as great as Dragons dogma.

The gaming mechanics are so different than average RPG gameplay. The ability to play with others players characters that just ‘walk’ around your world that you can recruit to play through the game with you.

The story line basically makes your head explode from sheer shock and amazement.

Full character customization and full pawn (your companion) customization as well.

Its so great.

Play it. dooooo it.

I cant remember the original story anymore, I remember I had a babysitter who would play them in front of me and I was just fascinated.

At the moment it should be obvious

We have Garrett Hawke

We have Fenris

We have Anders and Zevran

Also Dante, Virgil, Rytlock Brimestone, Logan Thackery, basically any Charr or Sylvari in GW2

and many many more.

Your first video game

From what I can remember on the PS was Scooby doo and the Cyber chase! But that rules out my Super Nintendo or my 64; which would have been either Mario or Star Fox.

It was the very first game I bought for myself. Take in mind this was back when I was a relatively normal child not obsessed with zombies or monsters.

Of course after playing this I bought the Jurassic park and Dino crisis games, followed by all the resident evils out on PS at the time.

I still have Resident Evil 3-Nemesis for the PS. Not sure if it still runs…where is my PS anyway? Holding a door open somewhere?
